Frequently Asked Questions

IELTS is an International Level English test which certifies a person as an English language Speaker.

IELTS exam has 2 years of validity.

Passport should have 6 months validity and at least one page empty.

IELTS Score can be between 1 to 9 and is calculated according to a specific scale.

IELTS General is valid for Immigration and Work Visa.

IELTS Academic is only valid for Study Visa and medical licensing.

Nursing Students must have IELTS Academic because they have to join classes for the Nursing license.

Life-skills A1 and B2 are valid only for Spouse visa cases for already settled persons in the United Kingdom (UK).

All English-Speaking Countries accept IELTS Exam like – Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom and so on.

There is two Website for booking IELTS Exam:

Create an Account and verify your Account

Fill all personal details using your passport.

Pay online via Debit Card, Credit Card or Net banking.

And offline payment (Challan) also available for the British Council.

Select your Speaking Date.

CELPIP test is only for Canadian immigration or Permanent Residence and it is conducted by Paragon Testing Enterprise. The British Columbia University recognizes the CELPIP Exam.

CELPIP Exam is fully computerized and it is available in two versions:

CELPIP General L S (Listening, Speaking) 1 Hour 10 Minutes: This is meant for Permanent Residents in Canada to convert their PR into Citizenship.

The CELPIP General: Listening, reading, Writing, Speaking and its Duration is 3 hours: It is in the same category as the IELTS General Training exam.

N.B: The exam is soon to be launched in India
